- Two
wood chip cars constructed from MDC 50 ft. auto car box cars with end
loading doors. These cars suggest a series operated by the Great Northern,
supplementing drop bottom gondolas. This style car gradually disappeared
after Gunderson and other car builders developed 60 ft. cars.
- Walthers 30 ton crane
rebuilt as a steam crane using Car-Scale and Precision Scale parts and
custom finishing bucket. Kadee wheel sets and couplers are standard. Crane
is a special order item with only a few remaining in stock.
- String of
SP&S 39000 series wood chip cars, fabricated from Accurail USRA box
cars. Andrews trucks with Kadee wheel sets, red wood or bass wood
extensions. Decal set is a production set, not sold to the model railroad
industry.
- Another
photograph of GN #423. These cars are rebuilds of rebuilt coaches.
- Another
photograph of GN #474.
- String
of GN 69000 series log flat cars. Although slightly shorter than the
prototype, these cars meet a need for cars different in appearance than
the Kadee skeleton log cars. A hidden metal frame adds weight, as does the
Bethlehem Car Works cast metal trucks.
- String
of Puget Sound & Pacific truss rod flat cars. The 15000 series rides
on Kadee T-section Bettendorf trucks. The shorter 36 ft. and 38 ft. flats
ride on Kadee Arch bar, Andrews, or T-Section Bettendorf trucks.
